Aol join the ranks of having excitingly unique office space with this design by Studio O+A. A few months back we looked at Lego’s office space, now Aol join them at the height of office cool. This is what O+A had to say about the project;

“Hitting “refresh” at every level of the company, Aol wanted a new look for its West Coast headquarters to reset what it meant to work at the revamped company.”

American Airlines Rebrand: November 10th 2013

American Airlines Rebrand is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

This inspirational brand identity design for American Airlines by Anna Kovecses is the cream of the crop when it comes to personal portfolio projects. Anna describes this project as;

“A new experimental identity created for a Victors and Spoils project aiming to help American Airlines reinvent itself after filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in 2011.”

Morrisons M Savers: November 11th 2013

Morrisons M Savers is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Earlier this year, supermarket chain Morrisons comissioned brand design agency Coley Porter Bell to “overhaul their 17,000 strong own brand offering”. With colourful hand drawn illustrations and a custom typeface, Coley Porter Bell have reinvented the Value range and replaced it with M Savers, products that “inject humanity and heart” into Morrisons most basic offerings. Now if only they could do something about those carrier bags…

Skyfall Title Sequence: November 12th 2013

Skyfall Title Sequence is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Something a little different today and our first post related to my love of films and animation. Anyone that hasn’t seen Skyfall yet should go and do that, right now. For those of us who have, sit back, relax and enjoy Daniel Kleinman‘s fantastic title sequence one more time.

Domino’s Pan: November 13th 2013

Dominos Pan is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Anybody that knows me personally knows how much I love pizza, especially well designed pizza. The packaging from this new offering from Domino’s was designed by CP+B. Clearly taking influence from vintage and retro typefaces, and everyone’s favourite rock and roll whiskey Jack Daniels, the packaging for Domino’s Handmade Pan Pizza is in all honesty, fantastic. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Botond Voros: November 14th 2013

Botond Vörös is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Botond Vörös is a Hungarian graphic designer whose work features sharp crisp lines, digital aesthetics and most importantly, fantastic ideas. My favourite piece of his work is his conceptual branding for the Katona József Theatre. Botond’s work isn’t far removed from Oberhaeuser’s infographics. To see more of Botond Vörös’ work, head over to his website.

Get Yourself Noticed: November 15th 2013

Get Yourself Noticed is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Whether you’re a graduate looking for your first big break or a freelancer who needs to drum up more business, getting yourself noticed is essential for success.

Today’s Daily Inspiration comes in the form of words. Every day, I get an email or two asking if I have any apprenticeships, internships or job openings available. What gets me thinking though is the shoddy way in which a lot of people present themselves. Some of the mail I get, is misspelled, reads badly or is just totally uninspiring.

For graphic designers, there’s not much creative emailing going on. So today’s inspiration comes from the lovely people over at Computer Arts who recently wrote this article; Get Yourself Noticed.

All the Signs of Revolution: November 16th 2013

All The Signs of Revolution is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Steve Simpson‘s fantastic poster All The Signs of Revolution has quite rightly won and been nominated for several illustration awards. Using a hashtag and a 17th century General the poster represents the “modern media’s role in calling forth, reporting on, and tracking down revolutionists.”

Macy’s Day Parade: November 17th 2013

Macy’s Day Parade is part of our daily inspiration series that share our favourite artworks with our readers, on Canny Creative design blog.

Thanksgiving is a mystery to us British. Most of us don’t understand what it is, when it is or why it happens. To the American’s though, it’s big, really big. One thing we can all appreciate though is this lovely set of images from different Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade that take place in New York city every year.

Classic Burger Joint: November 18th 2013

The branding for Lebanon based Classic Burger Joint is very juicy. The team at WonderEight created the brand as;
