Just like our March update, our April update is a little late. Things have went from crazy to even crazier over the last 4 weeks here at Canny.

With so much going on, it’s only fair that we give you an update into what we’ve been up to.

So, without further ado, here’s what happened in April 2017 at Canny Creative:

Project Updates

In April we saw projects that we’ve been working on for the last few months finally launch. It’s been a busy month, as we’ve been working on branding, web and illustrative projects all at once.

Vortex Training Solutions

The Vortex Training Solutions website finally launched in April. The animation was completely finished up and we’ve started working on building their brand and website out further.

The secret UI/UX project now has a name and branding and web work for that project has also been started. There’ll be more to come on this project next month.

Georg Jensen

Georg Jensen have been keeping us on our toes.

With several large printing and magazine commitments, the work for Denmark’s favourite jewellers has been non-stop.

We’ve been consistently working on a huge range of work for Georg Jensen, and our partnership continues to move from strength to strength.

Total Tuition

Total Tuition are an educational brand looking to launch towards the end of the year.

We’ve been working with them to create their brand identity, and from next month we’ll be working on their marketing website and helping them with their launch plan.

The work for Total Tuition will launch on our new website, but here’s a sneak peak:

Word Play Media

Tornado English is a brand new kid-friendly English teaching platform from the team at Word Play Media.

Over the course of April, we worked on a brand identity design and several app screens for the company.

The work is still under wraps until their official launch, but we’ll share it as soon as we can!

IAP

We’ve been working with Swiss investment advisors IAP for a little over 2 years. First we worked on their branding project, and at the back end of 2016, we were commissioned to create their website.

After several months of hard work, we’re pleased to say the new IAP WordPress website was launched in April 2017.

Now we’re looking forward to the future and meeting the IAP team in person in September, when they visit London, or, we visit Switzerland!

New Enquiries and Successful Client Meetings

As well as the work we’ve completed during in April, we’ve also been in talks with several interesting new people. We’re pleased to announce that from April, we’ve added the following companies to our client list:

McAndrew Plumbing

I’m not a big networker – but in May I did attend an NBSL Masterclass and met some great people.

Out of that class, we met with the team at McAndrew Plumbing and soon we’ll begin work developing their new website.

Fika Consulting

There’s nothing like a good referral. And that’s exactly how our relationship with Fika Consulting started.

Our friends over at Lean Mums and Vortex Training had a mutual friend who owns a consulting company, Fika.

Thanks to their kind words and our enthusiasm for the project, we’re happy to announce we’ll be working with Fika Consulting from May onwards.

New Blog Posts

The posts keep coming. Every Monday we release a new blog post, and here’s what we wrote about in April:

Website Traffic

April’s traffic was down on March, which is odd as we were hoping traffic would be up owing to our continued blogging efforts.

However, enquiries are up, so we’re happy about that!

As you can see, things are down on March’s efforts. But not to worry, onwards and upwards.

Email Subscribers

As always, we’re still gaining subscribers!


In April we gained 110 new subscribers. One day in particular we received 10 new email subscribers.

Sure we get several unsubscribes every time we blast out an email, but we’re gaining a lot more than we’re losing.

Something else we did with our email list this month was remove all inactive subscribers from our list. So numbers are down, but engagement is up.

And that’s it!

April has been all about hard work and launching projects.
