The Problem

As a brand new business entering a competitive market, Lusoso faced a huge challenge in standing out. They wanted to develop a sophisticated and modern brand identity that added a personality to the online shopping experience. As a lifestyle brand they strived to capture their individuality as well as the uniqueness of each product, while attracting online shoppers who are looking for carefully curated convenience.

They wanted to celebrate their one-of-a-kind styles by building an online community for their shoppers. Lusoso wanted to create a cohesive brand and digital space where creativity, fun, and self-expression are celebrated.

The Solution

To help Lusoso stand out and embody their individuality, we created a vibrant brand identity that centred around community and self-expression. A lively colour palette was introduced to bring energy and personality to the online shopping experience, mirroring the curated uniqueness of their products.

We designed an engaging digital space where creativity and fun are celebrated, allowing Lusoso to build an online community that feels personal and connected. By humanising the brand’s touchpoints and reflecting the approachable feel of high-street shopping, we helped Lusoso attract shoppers looking for a one-of-a-kind, curated, and engaging shopping experience.

Building the Lusoso Brand

Lusoso entered a competitive market with a mission to stand out as more than just an online shop. They wanted to create a lifestyle brand that embraced individuality and celebrated unique, curated products. We identified individuality as the core value, crafting key messages like "embrace passions," "champion individuality," and "empower the extraordinary" to guide Lusoso’s brand voice.

We developed a brand identity that captured this uniqueness. A blend of serif and sans serif typefaces, with italic touches, was used to convey energy and sophistication. The logo was designed to reflect Lusoso’s commitment to creativity and self-expression. Curvy lines across branding materials and the logo further emphasised the playful yet refined character of the brand.

Developing a Digital Experience

The website had to go beyond functionality, transforming into a digital space where Lusoso’s community could thrive. We focused on creating a user-friendly platform that mirrors the energy and personality of Lusoso’s brand, while showcasing their product range.

The vibrant design, paired with engaging images and content, encourages creativity and self-expression, making the site feel like a welcoming and dynamic space.

Humanising the digital experience was key. We reflected the approachable feel of high-street shopping by making the online journey seamless and personal. This helped Lusoso attract shoppers seeking both uniqueness and convenience in their shopping experience.

Strengthening Human Connections

As a product-led business, being active on social media was key for building brand awareness and strengthening Lusoso’s visual identity.

We created a range of social media templates, ranging from product highlights to community engagement, ensuring consistency and vibrancy across all digital touchpoints.

Packaging is a critical touchpoint for any product based brand. With the rise of unboxing as a key part of online shopping culture, we created packaging that reflected Lusoso’s personality.

Each purchase has been elevated into an experience, with vibrant, inviting designs that reinforce the brand’s ethos of celebrating individuality and making every moment special.
